It certainly has been a busy month since I posted last.  There have been many reasons for this, guess you can chalk it up to the perfect storm of time and tragedy.

First of all, thanks to all of you who have passed along notes of support and encouragement after my mom passed away last month.  I guess I was taking Vicki Davis’ suggestions on her best blogging practices in letting my tribute to my mom sit for a bit without burying it down the list.  But alas, it is time to get back to writing.

The other factor was simply time.  After missing a week and a bit at work to be with my mom and my family, I was faced with the challenge of catching up at work and keeping up with instructing the university course I am teaching.  I am still working on that…but we have started our Spring Break (it even kinds of feels like spring as we move above the freezing mark most days!) this week, just at the right time.

The university course has been a wonderful experience.  In five weeks we have covered much territory and have had many great off and on line conversations…technology neophytes are blogging and presenting…I m so proud of many of these learners; especially some of the more mature students.  More on that later this week.
