As I am on a two week vacation for our winter break, I have time to catch up with all my 'old' friends, and Jeff you were first on my list. We usually try and go to London to visit our sons, if we can afford to, but my daughter is having her second child in the next week or so, so we stayed home.
So, it is with interest that I read of your changed circumstances. I had a one day position per week, with my district but have just found out that that is going to a region employee and not a teacher now. I received the news with conflicting feelings as I loved learning from our dept what was being investigated for teaching and learning, but like you, I love the classroom. These times are so exciting where we can collaborate, connect and communicate.
So, Jeff, here is one willing partner for collaboration if you are looking for one from 'the land down under'. All the best back in the classroom where real education and learning takes place.
