My response would be &quot;No&quot;. In our Polar Science Project, www.polarscience.ca , the past two years, students were presented with weekly &quot;Challenge Questions&quot; by our scientists. Many, many of the answers students submitted were found by Google searches and none were cited properly. We spent as much time talking with students about searching, linking, and citing as we did discussing the answers to the questions. I&#039;m not complaining about the time we spent on this aspect of the project, but merely pointing out how important it was. There&#039;s a need and it&#039;s our job as teachers to meet it.</description>
